Robert Dietz is a multiple CARA winning producer who has been arranging, performing, and teaching contemporary a cappella music at all levels for over ten years. His career began in 2002 as director of the critically acclaimed quintet Ascending Height, with whom he produced the first all-original high school a cappella album. Robert has studied at both the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney, Australia, and at the Ithaca College School of Music in Ithaca, New York, where he directed the award-winning, all-male group Ithacappella. Under his direction, the group advanced to the finals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, and his arrangements were recognized as outstanding by the competition judges.
Recently, Robert has been a vocal coach and arranger for seasons 3, 4, and 5 of NBC’s The Sing-Off, as well as an off-screen vocal percussionist for The Warblers on season 3 of Fox's Glee. He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he sings locally with jazz/soul group Level and tours nationally with The Funx.
