Gerald Sebesky

Gerald Sebesky received his B.M. and M.M. degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, a M.A. from Columbia University, and a M.S. in psychology from Kean University.

Besides teaching public school through the university level, he is also known as a composer, conductor, and lecturer throughout the US, Canada, and England. With over 350 publications for concert band, stage band, orchestra, and chorus, he has been awarded the New Jersey Council of the Arts Fellowship. In 1991, he wrote the excerpt music for the motion picture Waiting for the Light.
