Bernadine Johnson received her B.A. in Music Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. In 1992, she was the recipient of a Fine Arts Dept. Alumni Award.
She teaches students of all ages and levels at her piano studio in Fremont, Michigan. A member of the Grand Rapids Piano Teacher's Forum, Michigan Music Teacher's Association and Newaygo County Piano Teacher's Group, Bernadine is a recipient of the Newaygo County 1999 Cultural Programs Award.
A former faculty member of Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake, Michigan, she has been an adjudicator for the Michigan State Band & Orchestra Association and was a clinician at the Piano Pedagogy Conference, Indiana Wesleyan University at Marion.
Bernadine has co-authored innovative Alfred publications including A Night at the Ballet and A Night at the Opera. She has also authored numerous sheet solos and a suite, Scenes from The Nutcracker.
